So today is Saturday and Randall has still not done anything to Nora's room yet and he goes back to work on Tuesday. Plus my mom is coming tomorrow. At this rate Nora will be sleeping in our room forever and I won't be able to walk in our room because all her stuff is piled into one corner.
Finally the stream of visitors has lightened up and I have the house to myself again. Normally having people around doesn't bother me, but the last thing I want to do after having a baby is play host. Next time I'm going to leave my house messy and stretch out on the couch and everyone else can tend to themselves. Plus I am never hosting Christmas at our house again! My grandparents definately had the right idea to push Christmas back until January.
Today I was finally able to leave my house! We drove out to Worthington so I could get Nora and Corbin some socks at the Carter's store. I know it seems like a hassle to drive that far for socks, but they're the only socks I really like, plus it takes Corbin 20 minutes to take them off. We also ran out to Target to get a toy box for Corbin since his old one is now overflowing.
Nora has been a little fussy lately and we couldn't figure out way. At first we thought it was because of gas or congestion, or we thought she caught a cold from Corbin. But finally we figured out that she wasn't getting her milk out of the bottle fast enough. I guess the #1 nipples on the bottle are too slow for her so we switched to #2's and she's much happier. She is such a little piggy! She wants to eat all the time and is definately filling out. But she's still too small for most of her clothes.
Corbin has been pretty whiny lately. I think he wants more attention. I think next week I'm going to take him to the mall play area and spend some time alone with him. I do try to give him Mommy and Corbin play time everyday, but sometimes time doesn't permit. Especially since we've had everyone in Ohio walking through our house.
