Today was my last OB appointment before my induction. Everything is the same as last week, so I can still go any day or I'll have to wait until December 21. Luckily since I'm so far along when I go in for my induction they will just break my water first instead of starting me on pitocin. Yea! I hate that stuff and would like to avoid it again at all costs!
Today the Salvation Army was supposed to come and pick up some old things we didn't want anymore. They were supposed to be here in the morning, but didn't show up until 2:30! I was pretty irritated, especially when they told us that they couldn't take our old dining room set, the metal shelf, or the computer monitor. Which is funny since we told them what we were planning on donating in the first place! The guy gave me a number for another organization that supposedly takes furniture that might be a little worn and refinishes them. I called them and the lady was just plain rude and flat out told me that if the Salvation Army won't take it, they wouldn't take it! Now come on, how hard does it have to be to donate something to charity! The table isn't in bad shape, it just needs a little cleaning. The only thing wrong with it is that it's old and has some paint drips on one of the chairs. The shelf is perfectly fine, but they won't take it because it's metal. They won't take the monitor because its more than 2 years old, and we don't have a computer or printer to go with it. It makes me so irritated that we can't even do something nice anymore. Luckily my mom said she would take the dining set, but we still have no where to take the shelf and the monitor.
Corbin is back to normal finally. He had a regular poop this morning and we can tell he already feels better. But he didn't want to eat lunch and refused to take a nap today. He did however eat a little for dinner, but insisted on going to bed at 7:30 instead of 8:00. Hopefully everything will be back on schedule tomorrow.
