It has been a busy weekend! On Saturday we went to look for double strollers. A coworker talked me out of getting one when I was pregnant, but now I realize I can't leave my house without Randall coming along since I can't push two strollers alone. Of course before we decided to buy one we saw used one everywhere and now that we want one there are none to be found.
After that we drove through the "bermuda triangle" aka Delaware County arriving an hour late for dinner with some friends from work. We had a good time playing cards and chatting. Of course now I can never play Euchre again because once again Randall has shattered my confidence and now I will play a losing hand everytime.
On Sunday my Dad came down for a visit and brought some clothes he bought for Corbin and Nora. My Dad cannot go past a children's clothing store without buying anything for the kids. Which is awesome for us! Corbin was pretending to be shy for a few minutes, but they started playing with his grandpa. Nora of course slept most of the time. No one will ever believe us that she cries all the time if all she ever does when we have company is sleep. Later that day my old roommate Sarah came over to see the kids. She moved back to Columbus last month and we haven't seen each other in a year. It was nice to catch up and of course Corbin had to flirt and show off the whole time.
Corbin has this new expression when he's mad - it's hilarious! No wonder the kid doesn't want to talk, his face says it all. He's also doing really well with his sign language. He can do 4 signs and knows the meaning of 2 or 3 more. It has made communication a bit easier since he can only say a few words.
Nora is doing better. She's not so fussy during the day, but we still have our moments. She's rolling over some, but not all the time yet. She has also been smiling up a storm. She loves to take a bath with Corbin and watch him splash - she grins from ear to ear and coos the whole time. I do think that once she becomes mobile she'll be less fussy.
