Fathers Day Weekend

On Saturday we went to the Rose Festival at the Park of Roses. It was so beautiful! Unfortunately Nora was very nervous around the crowds so we didn't stay too long. Just long enough to walk around and see all the gorgeous blooms. Corbin absolutely loved looking at all the flowers and was happy to just look at every rose all day.

Afterwards we went to Whole Foods to get some groceries. Nora decided she wanted to run all over the store and act like a wild woman. Finally we convinced Corbin to walk and tied down Nora in the cart. We got some great organic peaches and cherries. We also got some bison steaks for dinner. We also ran into Kerrie and Wendy and baby Liam. He is so adorable and has the darkest head of hair I have ever seen! Kerrie looks great too, she looks thinner than she did before she was pregnant.

On Sunday morning my Dad came down for a visit and brought Nora her very own tricycle! She was so excited - she wanted to take it outside and ride it right then. Corbin was in a grumpy mood and didn't want to play with PaPaw, but he came around. After my Dad left we all took a nap and ate lunch. After lunch we went to Jaquemin Farms in Dublin to pick strawberries. The weather was perfect, the berries were perfect, and the kids had a blast! Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I have no pictures - maybe we'll go back this weekend for some more. Randall probably had the most fun out of all of us. He picked through every inch to find the best berries. It took us no time to fill a 5 quart bucket. He said it was the best Father's Day gift. We we got home we filled the kids pool and ate strawberries until dinner time.

It was the perfect summer weekend.
