Zoombezi Bay

On Saturday we braved the pop-up thunderstorms and went to experience the new waterpark Zoombezi Bay. Most of the major water slides were closed because of runoff from Friday nights heavy storms, but the "Wave Pool" and the children's areas were both open - which were the only places we planned on going to anyway. Corbin absolutely loved everything about the place! He loved splashing and going down the little slides. He also loved sitting on my lap during the waves. Nora was not a big fan - the first thing we did was go in the wave pool and I think that might have scared her. Hopefully as the summer goes on she will get used to it. Randall really liked the relaxed atmosphere going on. It was very laid back - probably because storms scared people off, but we also stuck to the family areas which made everything better too.

While we were waiting for the pool to open back up after one of many pop-up storms we rode the new rides at the Zoo. We rode the train, the tea cups (which Corbin loved!), and the elephants (Nora and Corbin both liked that one!!). Too bad I don't have any pictures since I forgot my camera at home! But I'll definately take pictures next time!
