Seriously what is up with this kid? It seems like every week he comes up with some new way to damage the house. Today we were in the living room, he was coloring and I was reviewing some notes from class. He asked if he could color and watch "The Backyardigans" in the living room. Since he usually does a good job keeping crayons off the carpet I told him to go ahead. Five minutes later I look away from my notes to see what he was coloring. He wasn't coloring in his book, instead he drew a circle around himself in blue on the carpet. Right after I told him that crayons go in coloring books and not on the carpet. So Corbin was sent to time out while I scrubbed the carpet with Resolve. I then marched him up to bed 45 minutes early.
Honestly I don't know what is going on with him. Yesterday he told Randall to "shut up" at the library. Of course Randall won't admit this, but I'm sure Corbin heard it from him because I don't say it and neither does the babysitter. He also hit one of his friends today at the sitter's house. Corbin never hits - even when someone hits him, he's very good at using his words. But Randall has been telling him to hit back when Nora hits him - which makes him think he can do it to anyone.
