Mother Nature is out to get me . . .

AKA - Ohio weather sucks!

Today after Corbin's tumbling class we went to Target to pick up a few things. The sun was out when we went in. As we were walking out it was cloudy and windy, but no rain. As soon as we got to the car out of no where pea-sized hail comes pelting down on us. Luckily the kids were in the shopping cart and not walking at the time. I on the other hand was pushing the cart and carrying my coffee, which sprayed on me because I had to make a run for it. I managed to get Nora into the car when the hail stopped . . . or so I thought. I grabbed Corbin and threw him in the car when it started hailing AGAIN! And my shopping cart was making a run for it - with our stuff inside. Poor Corbin almost had the door blow closed on his fingers because the winds were so strong. I grabbed the cart threw everything in the car. The hail had stopped again. I went to buckle in the kids when the clouds opened up and drenched me with rain.

After I got in the car Nora said "Mommy you're all wet!" I told Corbin we had had adventures for the day and were going home instead of finishing our errands - he didn't argue with me.
