It's been a busy week here at the Lorenz house.
Last week Nora started tumbling/pre-gymnastics. I think she will be more challenged this time around since she is clearly one of the youngest in the class. She's had two classes already and she is doing a better job listening and following directions. She is still having a hard time socializing with other kids, but we're working on it. Hopefully we can schedule some playdates with some of the other girls.
We met Corbin's teachers yesterday and he is really excited to start preschool tomorrow. Preschool is all he has talked about during the summer and now it's finally here! Can't come a day too soon either, he is getting bored at home and he needs more social interaction with kids his own age.
On Saturday we went to my grandparent's house so the kids could have a visit and so grandma and grandpa could watch them while Randall and I went to the bridal shop my cousin works at. Being the loving and wonderful cousin I am, I was suckered into modeling wedding gowns for a bridal show next Sunday. So I had to get fitted for some gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and mother of the bride dresses. Randall thought the whole thing was a riot! Apparently I am very entertaining when I am trying on 30 lb dresses. I ended up with 5 bridal gowns to model and 3 of the other types. Of all 5 gowns I only liked 2 - but as I kept saying over and over again, I don't have to like them they just have to fit. I don't know what it is about brides up in NW Ohio, but they really like the beaded dresses, there was not a lace or simple dress in the bunch. I'm hoping Randall can come with me to take pictures, since it will be the only time I will be wearing a wedding dress, and I want something to remind me to never do a favor for my cousin again.
