Getting Crafty

About two weeks ago I decided to really try to learn how to knit. My grandma has been trying to get me to do it for years since none of my other cousins want to learn.


I've been working on a scarf for my mom, but it's taking FOREVER, mostly because I have to keep putting it down to deal with other things (i.e. kids, laundry, cleaning, etc . . .)



In order to get some instant gratification I decided to tackle a hat. My friend Ben is going to med school up in Erie and has been begging for a hat and scarf. So I did a test hat in kid size to see if I could do it. Nora did a wonderful job modeling it for me and would now like one of her own in pink.
