Nora's Birthday

Nora turned two on Thursday. We decided to just have a little party for the four us. The day started with a visit to the doctor for both Corbin and Nora's yearly check up. Both are right on track and both did very well - of course it helps that it was a shot free visit.

When we got home Nora took a nap and Corbin asked every five minutes about the cake. After nap Nora opened her presents (with a little help from Corbin). She didn't quite get the whole "rip the paper off" part. She would take a piece from each package without really opening anything. Her favorite gift was her red shoes which she insisted on wearing immediately.

Cake was good - it was an ice cream cake per Nora's request for ice cream for her birthday. Randall cut the pieces too big so the kids couldn't finish them. The pink icing was also a major pain - both kids had pink hands for a day or two. Now we're gearing up for Christmas.
