Corbin's First Field Trip!

Today Corbin's preschool class went to a local farm to pick pumpkins. He was so excited that he woke up at 6:15 this morning ready to go! From what he told me he had a great time and loved everything about the farm. He talked about the animals, the pumpkins, and the doughnuts all the way home.

All weekend Corbin talked about how he wanted to get a little pumpkin for his Daddy. Well at the farm he did pick a little one and all his friends picked big ones, so the teachers decided he could have two little ones. Unfortunately one of them split in half during the hayride and I guess no one noticed except Corbin, who told me about it on the way home. So we currently have a tiny pumpkin and a broken pumpkin.

On Saturday we're planning on going to Jacquemin Farms to get pumpkins for the family, so Corbin will have another chance to get a little pumpkin. Nora of course wants a "GIANT" pumpkin! We'll see what they have when we get there.
