No matter what we do, for some reason ants like to come in around our front door. Mostly they're just 3 or 4 "scouts" at a time, but it's still pretty annoying. The kids know to kill all ants on sight and they take their job very seriously.

NORA: Mommy can you help me put on my Easter shoes.

ME: sure

After her new shoes are on, Nora walks over to the entry-way.

NORA: These shoes are going to kill ants. They're my ant killing shoes.

She then proceeds to tap dance and stomp across the entry-way killing any ant that crosses her path.
